Welcome to Sea Lily!
My name is Beau, and I own and operate 3 properties in Exuma that I brand under Bahama Bound Vacation Rentals. I also started and run two Facebook groups to help guests like you do all the research they can. The groups are called Where to Stay/What to Do and Exuma for 2. My house manager's name is Bernice, she lives just a few minutes away and is always helpful when unique things come up that you may need. She can also help you with grocery shopping and can get you a gallon of Rum Punch (or other Island drinks) to leave in the fridge for you when you arrive.

First things first, feel free to call me or message me anytime you have questions about things to do or things you may need.
My cell number is 913-325-3026.

I first came to Exuma in 2019. It took me about an hour of being here to know that Exuma was going to be a special place for me for the rest of my life. In 2020 I bought the Sea-Lily. Since I have been coming to Exuma, I have made many friends from all over the world, and some of my best friends live right here in Exuma. I hope when you leave Exuma, it has been as special a place to you as it is to me.

-When you arrive at the Hideaways Resort-
Check in at the front office, and they will provide you with a wristband. Please keep the wristband on, and if you happen to lose it, go back to the front office and they will provide you with a new one. This helps the staff know who is supposed to be at the Resort and who isn’t.

-Information about the Hideaways Resort-
The pool closes at 8 pm. You can check out pool towels, but the pool towels are only for the pool, not the beach. Please use the beach towels that you are provided with at Sea-Lily for beach use. If you would like to take home a Bahama Bound beach towel, or if they are misplaced, they are $65.00 each. You can leave cash with a note for Bernice or Venmo me, my Venmo account is @Beau-Goodell.

Kayaks, paddle boards, and lounge chairs are also all included in your stay. Feel free to use them, but please remember to return them to where they are stored.

There is a shuttle that will take you to town, which is also included in your stay. You will need to sign up at the front desk.
The fitness center opens at 8 am, but a run/walk on the beach is a great workout with an amazing view!
There is a family room that is located in the same building as the front desk. It has board games, puzzles, TV, and big oversized sofas, which is a great place to hang out inside if the weather isn’t ideal.

Splash, the Resort restaurant, is open from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week.

Laundry service is available at the front desk for a fee paid to the resort.

As you explore around the island, please remember the people working in the different businesses are on island time. They aren’t fast-paced and stressed like most of us. If you get an attitude with them for not being fast enough, it will only make it worse. A goal while you are here, be like them…. CHILL and it will all go great!

Quiet time is 9 pm- please be respectful of your neighbors.

About the Sea-Lily
The AC units are super easy to operate. You will see the remotes hanging on the walls. Please turn it up when you leave for the day. It doesn’t take long to cool back down, and as you can imagine, the power is not cheap on the island.

When you take a shower, please run the exhaust fan and then shut it off when you are done. This gets the humidity out of the bathroom. Little things like this make a difference.

I have always drank the tap water for as long as I have owned the Sea Lily.

There is a drip coffee maker and filters provided.

NO grease or anything that could cause drain problems in the sinks, please.

Only flush toilet paper in the toilets, anything else needs to be disposed of in the trash cans provided.

There is a box on the porch that has all the beach gear in it. There will be 4 beach chairs, floating chairs, two coolers, and everything else others have left. If you use any of it, please rinse it off with fresh water and return it to the box.

The camera on the porch will be shut off when you arrive unless you tell me otherwise.

ABSOLUTELY NO ANIMALS INSIDE. IF I FIND OUT THERE HAS BEEN AN ANIMAL LET INSIDE, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND CHARGED FOR EXTRA CLEANING. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE.

Check out - 11:00 am
I hate to say it, but all good things must come to an end. Here are a few things to remember before leaving.

Check the dresser and cabinets for your belongings.

Do you have your phone chargers?

Take as many conch shells as you want but they HAVE TO BE IN A CHECKED BAG.

Please place all towels and bedding in a pile.

Leave bathroom doors open.

Shut all windows.

Turn the temp to 77 degrees.

Items used from the beach box need to be put back in an orderly manner.

Dishes have been washed and put away.

Trash is taken out.

Please report any lost or broken items to me.

Any food that is left will be given to people in need on the island.

Get the airport 2 hours ahead of boarding.
Once you check in you can go across the street to Kermit’s Restaurant and Bar.

Bernice is always thankful for Tips!
